AVX2 for Raptor Lake and Zen 5
FinalWire has updated its benchmarking suite to AIDA version 6.9; Good time to pick it up if you haven’t already. They included preliminary benchmarks optimized AVX-512 and 64-bit multi-threaded AVX2 for the unreleased Zen 5 server and desktop chips, not to mention the accompanying motherboards. On the Intel side, FinalWire has added better support for Meteor Lake, Arrow Lake, and Lunar Lake CPUs.
If you prefer the road less traveled, AIDA has now improved support for Zhaoxin’s Yongfeng processor if you happen to own one or are interested in picking one up. If you recently bought a GPU, you will be happy to know that AIDA now knows everything about RX 7600, GeForce RTX 4060, RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4070. They have also been working on the integration with Enhanced SmartCool LCD.
