Lian Li has branched out into fan making and the 120mm UNI FAN P28 is an amazing first product. Airflow performance through the TechPowerUp radiator was at the top of the charts, and the noise generated tended towards the bottom half of the several dozen fans they compared it to. Testing was done with the normal setting which runs at 2200 RPM, the fans also offer two other speeds which are Silent at 1200 RPM and Performance at 2600 RPM. The three-pack comes with a fan controller, or you can use your own, without having the fans set to full speed.
Lian Li also added some unique features to the UNI FAN P28, such as the ability to daisy-chain the fans together. You can run up to three fans from a single 1A motherboard header with a single cable, greatly simplifying cable management. When you do, you can also use clips found on fans to link them together. You can also remove them if you are setting them up separately. The three-pack comes with an ARGB fan controller, if you buy a single fan you’ll need to supply your own, and Lian Li doesn’t appear to be selling their own controller separately at the moment.
